Mum With Love...

Good morning to you all.
I hope you are all well despite the heavy rain this morning. Hopefully it will brighten later.

I have finally got a watermark for my cards thanks to the blog tips by Jenny Hodge.

If help is needed Jenny has some really useful tips.

I made this card yesterday for a friends Mum's birthday. A little different to my usual girlie style. I enjoyed how quick & easy it was with no colouring needed.

I used
 6 x 6 Craftwork card,
K & Co double sided paper's,
Spellbinders Floral Ovals die.
Green square Martha Stewart Punch around the page,
Kraft card heart die ( not sure of company),
Roses are The Hobby House,
Cherry Blossoms WOC,
Lace craft shop in Guernsey,
Pearl hearts The Range,
Paper doily, ribbon & stamen's from my craft stash.
Mum, Faux stitching & with love stamps,
Liquid pearls.

I am entering into these challenges...

I have used Lace, Ribbon, Flowers & Pearls.

Many Thanks For Looking Today.
Hugs Karen x

  1. Gorgeous card Karen! Love that it's all about the sentiment which is a lovely font. The flowers and different elements look so pretty. I'm sure your friend's mum will be thrilled with this card.
Glad you've got a watermark, it's important people know that it's your creation. Chris, my eldest, did mine but I've no idea how he did it. I just have a piece of paper with instructions from him on how to put it on my photo. Bless him, he knows how rubbish I am with computer stuff! Have a good weekend. Debra x

    1. Hi Debra. Many thanks for your lovely comments on my card. I am glad that I enjoyed making it as I have been asked to make another similar in style. I do struggle with loading up & sorting blog issues, but I just realised I have made 40 posts already. Steve usually sorts things out when I get stuck, although he says I had no problem learning how to shop online. Are you working on any cards or are you still sorting your mums house. I intend to spend tomorrow crafting as Jessica is at a friends for the day. Hope everything is well with you all.

      Hugs Karen x
