LOTV Birthday Fairy...

Hello all family friends & followers.

I hope you are all well & enjoying the weekend so far.

I would like to say a big welcome to my newest follower Cathy & I hope you continue to enjoy my future posts.

I am sorry that I have not had time to post this card sooner. It has been a busy week with my children on hols from school & my husband from work.

I will add items used later

We travelled down to London last weekend for the boys to attend a football match at Wembley Stadium while Jess & I went shopping at Ikea. I treated myself to a lovely storage trolley for my craft room as well as a few other bits. My husband was over the moon that his team won although it was on penalty's.

We have been up to Scarborough & Whitby this week. It was a shame the sun only came out yesterday on our last day but we still had a pretty action packed time. We climbed the 199 steps up to the Abbey in Whitby & the children took part in a prayer ceremony under the instruction of Brother John. Children were able to dress in monk’s and nun’s robes and Nathan was chosen to lead the procession & they learned all about the lives of novices, monks, lay brothers and nuns

Yesterday the sun shone & we spent some afternoon time on the beach followed by a game of crazy golf (some how I won) which annoys them all a lot. In the morning the kids enjoyed the Military Adventure Park. Jess driving a tank & shooting guns (where is my little girlie gone). We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea & ended the evening with Scarborough fish & chips.

Today has been spent catching up on laundry etc, supermarket shopping, we are pretty much back to normal. I was so cross with myself that I forgot to take any of my craft/colouring things with me this week.

I hope to craft but have a busy time ahead this week as it will be Nathans birthday. I cant believe he will be 15 already.

  3. Beautiful card Karen! Cute image brilliantly coloured and the flowers look so pretty.
You weren't far away from me in sunny Bridlington then. I remember walking up all those steps when 6 months pregnant with my eldest son, not the best thing to do in that condition! Sounds like you all had a good time despite the sun only showing it's face for one day. Debra x
