LOTV Big Present

Birthday Number 4...

Hello & good morning to you all. The weather forecast looks good for this weekend so I got up early this morning to get this little card made, then we can get out & enjoy the sunshine.

I have made this little card for our Nephews 4th Birthday
next month. This is different to my usual style & colour, very quick & simple to make with very little embellishments. I did add the label tag with the number 4 to the parcel.

Stamp is Big Present from LOTV,
Papers are DCWV,
Blue CANDi from Craftwork Cards (purchased at Which Craft Doncaster a long time ago).
I have coloured this image with Copics & dotted with stickles.

I am entering this card at ...

Many Thanks for looking today.
Have a great weekend.

  3. Hi Karen. Really cute card. I love the colours and you're right about it not needing loads of embellishments. The number on the tag is a fab idea. I like the sentiment , where did that come from? Simply a great card!
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. My friend was going to throw the card away after her birthday so she gave it back to me in case I wanted any of the bits! She doesn't really 'get' handcrafted cards. I keep any handcrafted cards that I receive as I know how much work has gone into them. Oh well, I'll have to get her a 'proper' card from a shop next time lol!

    1. Hi Debra. Thank you for your very kind comments on my little boys card . I am not sure if the sentiment stamp came from a magazine. I am glad you have your card back as it is to precious to throw away. I am not creating much this week as we are busy decorating but I am hoping to go to Doncaster with my friend Carolynn on Friday to get tickets for the Paper Craft Fair at the Dome next month.
      Hope you are keeping well.
      Happy Crafting.

Isn't it lovely to be still enjoying the sun when it is nearly October.

  5. Such a pretty card Karen. Love the image but the soft way you've coloured it is gorgeous and your papers are fabulous! I also think that is brilliant the way you added the number 4 to personalize the card.
